"Ten years ago we started using OilCap and we were amazed at how fast total remediation could be attained. In cases where the spill is superficial, 3-4 days was enough. Cleaning of concrete surfaces could be done in one day. Our biggest challenge was convincing our clients that OilCap is not soap but a chemical that dries out the hydrocarbon and converts it to carbon and silicate In the 10 years that we have used OilCap we have had no comebacks on any project. It is the only product we have come across that will actually do more than the supplier dreams it can do. In not one case did we ever find any hydrocarbon (tph) in tests done on treated sites. In one case we treated the oil sludge from a oil separation pit. On completion the client planted pumpkins all over the heap of remediated soil, and believe you me they had a bumper crop.
